Road kill, nr. (typically dry) Estrella River in formerly excellent Am Badger habitat - a few still inhabit this vineyard-laden portion of the river; however, the species can be observed more commonly a few mile upstream from this location where the river is wider with sandy cut-banks and native habitats provide greater cover.
