Found dead on Alma Bridge Rd.
I think that is an egg mass around the carcass, so I'm guessing this is a female.
Note: since this carcass is very decomposed, I compared it with pictures from previous survey dates to ensure no duplicates are added to the project.

These observations show the decomposition of a newt over time. This will give us a sense of how fast the bodies decompose so that duplicate entries aren't added to the main project and the total count is more accurate.
