Weather conditions at time of observation: 72 degrees F and sunny. Appeared to be young skunk that had been dead for at least a week. I had not seen his body there previously. Saw a predator bird feather (photo included), possible Great Horned Owl. Perhaps this was body that I had recorded previously about a week back on Sonoma Highway at Trinity Road in Glen Ellen about .25 miles South of this intersection as that body is no longer there and I believe it was still in place when I passed by the morning of this observation. Perhaps moved and dropped by some other predator? Cow pasture SE of the intersection, turkey farm, not sure if it's still in business, to East of intersection on Weise Road. Some wooden fenced residences to West of road. Various Quercus species.
